Three years ago, after Tom was killed, his clients at So Others Might Eat presented us with this poster sized tribute. This is the Tom they knew. His smile, his love, his whole heart. He loved his clients. He valued their lives, treasured their personalities and points of view. And he desperately wanted to help them find a path to a brighter future. Our work today, through Peace For DC, continues to try to help create peace and safety for the DC communities and individuals who need it the most. And we feel Tom's loving presence every day. In order to create peace, we need to create it in the style and spirit with which Tom chose to live his life every day. He will forever be an inspiration to all of us, and we're grateful to have him by our side as we carry on.
